Together at the Table: A Community Conversation on Hunger

We were honored to join the City Club of Central Oregon for their Together at the Table forum on June 25—a powerful and much-needed conversation about food insecurity and equitable access to nutritious food in our region.

Our Executive Director, Ranae Staley, joined a panel of dedicated community leaders, including Carly Auten from NeighborImpact, Lindsey Stailing from Mosaic Community Health, and Audrey Tehan from Seed to Table. Together, they explored the root causes of hunger, the barriers families face in accessing healthy food, and the hope that grows when organizations work together.

At The Giving Plate, we believe that addressing hunger starts by seeing the people behind the need—with compassion, dignity, and a shared commitment to care. We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of this important dialogue and to stand alongside these mission-driven partners.
