Monthly Food Box Program
Our monthly food box program is available to our guests once per calendar month. We serve the Bend, La Pine, Sunriver, Tumalo, Sisters, and Prineville communities.
First time guests will need to fill out a new guest application and provide basic information that is kept in our confidential database. Each guest will need to provide proof of residence - proof of income is not needed.
For returning guests, each month you visit you will do a digital signature confirming that you fall within the USDA limits for low to moderate income.
After a guest has signed in they will fill out a shopping list of the items that they would like to receive if it is available. The shopping list is provided to a volunteer "personal shopper" who will then pack that guest's food box.
We strive to provide each of our guests with a nutritious assortment of food. We average about 25 pounds per individual in a family. We cannot guarantee what we will have available each day, so we appreciate your understanding as we try to provide you the best of what we have on hand.
When we can, we do try and accommodate our guest's special diet restrictions.
The grab & go pantry is part of our food box program and available to anybody who needs food, any day we are open. This pantry generally offers an assortment of bread and pastries, but at times other food or personal items will be available here as well.
There is no need to sign in to help yourself to the items in this pantry. We appreciate you being mindful of our other guests by just taking what you and your family need.
