Food donors are essential partners in our mission to combat hunger in Central Oregon. Every food donation brings comfort and nourishment to families. Together, we can create a community where everyone feels supported.

The following is a list of food items that are needed on a regular basis. Please ensure all donated food items are sealed in their original packaging and are within 12 months of expiration.

We are unable to accept food donations at our Community Store.

Thank you for bringing your food donations to our Distribution Center.

We accept all food donations at our Distribution Center, located at 1212 NE 1st Street, Bend, OR 97701.
- Sunday & Monday: Closed
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Thursday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
When donating during our open hours, please drive to the back of the building and ring the door bell if you don’t see anyone. Our staff or volunteers will meet you to accept your donation.
If you have a large donation of food, please call to schedule that with our warehouse manager at 541-797-6883 or email food@thegivingplate.org.
Want to host a food drive for The Giving Plate? Thank you for your support!
- You can pick-up and drop-off a donation barrel anytime during our open hours (please coordinate this ahead of time by contacting food@thegivingplate.org).
- We are happy to drop-off a donation barrel at your location on Tuesdays.
- We can pick-up your donation barrel on Fridays.
- Please contact our warehouse manager to coordinate your food drive: food@thegivingplate.org.
