HOW SEVERE IS THE NEED FOR FOOD RELIEF IN CENTRAL OREGON?

Oregon on the whole has 16.2% of all citizens living in poverty, and the 3rd highest percentage in the Nation of people using SNAP/Food Stamps. Over 4,000 individuals are unemployed in Bend alone, according to a survey in March of 2016.

Children's FREE Sack Lunches

Every day we are open we offer sack lunches and additional nutritious weekend food for individuals under 18 years of age.

Child Play Area

Children are welcome to enjoy our children's play area during your visit. Children must be supervised by parents.

Where does the Food Come From?

Some food is donated by local businesses and individuals (see our grantors and local food providers here). The rest is purchased from food bank providers such as NeighborImpact and the Oregon Food Bank. When supplies run low, food is also purchased from grocers and markets in town.

Who Qualifies To Receive Food?

Families and individuals who are earning an income below the Federal Poverty Line (click here to learn more about the FPL) and those experiencing homelessness.

CAN SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP FOOD FOR ME?

It is best if you can come to pick up food yourself. If you are unable to come, whoever picks up for you will need to speak with a program director. Please provide them with a signed letter of authorization to collect your food box.
